| Blackjack has proven to be an excellent stud passing on great traits.. Purchased by us when he was 4 months old we immediately saw the potential in his gait and sparkle in his eye and knew he was the male for us. He continues to amaze us with his ability to think on his own. He is a medium size male of a lean 78 pounds. Blackjack loves nothing more than chasing a frisbee or ball and leaping into the water and swimming out to retrieve it. He keeps the kids entertained for hours and puts on quite an impressive show when we take him out to the soccer field or park. He only barks when it is necessary and is the greatest house dog whenever he is allowed inside. OFA Ratings are GOOD! |

| That's what I call Focus! Blackjack has a tremendous ability to block everything out except the object (usually a ball or frisbee - but any object will do!) he wants to pursue. He has high prey drive but doesn't have interest in chasing your cat or your children who are running and playing . He'll search tirelessly, tracking until he finds what he is looking for in the water or on land. Blackjack can click off when told and turns into a dog that just likes a good ear stratch and a belly rub. But when it is time to play/work he is one fun dog to watch in action. He is great in the house and completely well mannered. He gets along well with all female dogs and cats. He will pass on so many of his quality traits to his offspring in appearance and temperament. Plans call for titling Blackjack in the next year. Everyone that meets Blackjack is impressed with his looks and demeanor and hope that their dog will be just like him! |
